Terms of use

Effective 20 October 2026. These terms govern your use of IELTS A (the website at ieltsa.org and our mobile apps).

1. Who we are

IELTS A is operated by POWER DIGITAL SOLUTIONS AUSTRALIA ("we", "us"). Contact: support@ieltsa.org. Payments are processed by Stripe and appear on your statement under our name.

2. What IELTS A is, and is not

IELTS A is an independent practice tool for the IELTS exam. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to IELTS, the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. Practice questions, model answers and sample audio are original and written by us. Scores and feedback are automated, unofficial estimates. They do not predict or guarantee your result in the real exam.

3. Your account

You must give accurate details, keep your password secure and be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission. You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share it. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

4. Free and PRO access

Some content is free. PRO gives access to additional test sets, band 8 sample answers and the LIVE examiner feature for as long as your subscription is active. We may change, add or remove content and features. If we remove a feature you paid for in a way that materially reduces what you bought, you can ask for a pro-rata refund.

5. Subscriptions and payment

  • PRO plans are subscriptions billed in advance for the period shown at checkout (monthly, every three months, or yearly) and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Prices are shown in US dollars and may include or exclude taxes depending on your location. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account using "Manage billing". Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep PRO until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • We will tell you in advance before changing the price of an existing subscription. The new price applies from your next renewal and you may cancel before then.
  • If a payment fails we may retry it and may end PRO access if it cannot be collected.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund policy.

6. Acceptable use

Do not copy, scrape, resell or redistribute our content or audio; do not attempt to disrupt, probe or overload the service; do not use automated tools to extract questions or answers; and do not upload unlawful or abusive material. Personal, non-commercial study use is welcome.

7. Your content

You own the answers and recordings you submit. You give us a licence to store and process them to run the service: to score your attempt, show you feedback and keep your history. We do not publish your answers. See the Privacy policy for details.

8. Our content

All content, design and software on IELTS A belongs to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own exam preparation.

9. Disclaimers and liability

IELTS A is provided "as is". We aim for accurate content but do not promise it is error-free or always available, and automated scoring can be wrong. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for exam results, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded, or liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Changes, ending, governing law

We may update these terms; for material changes we will give notice on the site or by email. You may stop using IELTS A and delete your account at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live (including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies). Questions: support@ieltsa.org.
